Caracol Television received the Melisa Award for the Promotion and Development of Audiovisual Accessibility
On July 25 2015, Caracol Television received an award as the first TV channel in Latin America to include audio description for the blind with a second screen feature.
"Cinema for Blind People" in the 32nd version of the Bogota Film Festival
For three years, the Bogota Film Festival has been sponsored by ATmedios in the "Cinema for Blind People" category. This new edition's aim is to continue bringing cinema to people who are blind or with low vision thanks to audio description.
"Movies for Everyone" is now at Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival - FICCI
FICCI Hall, a space created by the festival for panels, discussions, press conferences and master classes, will have the participation of Deputy ICT Minister Maria Carolina Hoyos on Thursday March 12, 2015. Ms. Hoyos will present the "Cinema for All" project to attendees. In addition, as part of the festival's program, three films will be screened with audio description for blind people and subtitles for deaf people.
