Context:
Language differences can greatly limit the globalizing audiovisual content that many companies produce. For this reason, ATmedios has different solutions for projects created in a single language.
Dubbing is an audiovisual resource that replaces the original audio content with a new audio track so that the same content is available in a different language and can be seen in another part of the world.
Problem:
The client required us to do the English dubbing of a series of corporate videos on engineering, irrigation systems, and water treatment in various areas of Spain. The voices had to be native to the United States. They had to adjust as best as possible to the characteristics of the people involved in the videos while maintaining the intention of the original language.
Solution:
For this important project, our client in the United States shared the videos originally produced in Spanish. At ATmedios, we start the processes of transcription, translation, and adaptation.
Our Dubbing Director did the casting to select the best voices for our actors, who, during the studio recording, had to adapt their voices to the environment and find the best tone for each video's protagonists to connect each story. Then the post-production process was carried out to achieve the realism of the different situations of the videos, such as interviews, testimonials, demos, presentations, visits, and explorations, all in the open field, and thus fill the public that receives the result with emotion.
Challenges:
- Deliver a product that, although recorded in the studio, sits in the original environment of the production.
- Find the actors and voices with native American accents and believable with the characters in the videos.
