On April 28, May 5, and May 12, several human rights defenders who study racism and police violence against Africans and Afro-descendants met in a videoconference. They discussed the implementation of resolution 43/1 of the Council of Human Rights to promote and protect the rights of this population against excessive use of force and other human rights violations by law enforcement officials.
For two hours, our interpreters transmitted to the attendees each of the speakers' interventions in Spanish, French, English, and Portuguese through the Zoom platform.
