LACNIC 35 was held from May 10 to 14. It consisted of a week of tutorials, demonstrations, and forums. There was space for exchange and discussion on Internet technologies and where members and clients of this community enjoyed the presentation of technical works, projects, and balance sheets. The topics included were cybersecurity, IPv6, DNS, interconnection, regulation, and ratification of policies, among others.
Lacnic is one of the 5 Regional Internet Registries globally and is responsible for the assignment and administration of IP addresses for the Latin American and Caribbean region. IP in practical terms refers to an Internet Protocol, through which we can have a unique and unrepeatable address of each of our devices to establish communication on the Internet.
For this event, we carried out CART in Spanish, English, and Portuguese throughout the week in which the event took place; in this way, the client could include the texts within their website so that attendees could choose the language of preference in which they wanted to display the subtitles.
