The "Zero Hunger Program" was presented at the Rocky Valdez Multifunctional Coliseum in Cartagena, Colombia, marking a significant milestone in the fight against food insecurity in the region. The event, broadcast live on the Vice-Presidency of the Republic's official Facebook page, brought together leaders, communities, and strategic allies in a space designed to promote inclusion and the active participation of all.
To ensure an accessible experience during the broadcast, a camera dedicated exclusively to Colombian sign language interpretation was installed, allowing hearing-impaired attendees to follow every detail of the event. The speakers were equipped with high-quality microphones, ensuring a clear and uninterrupted audio transmission for the interpreters. In addition, the team had early access to the presentations, which allowed them to prepare specific terms and develop signs for key concepts.
More than 1,000 people enjoyed the event without facing communication barriers thanks to these initiatives. This service broadens impact and participation in events and demonstrates a genuine commitment to equality and diversity.
