At ATmedios, we recorded and post-produced the interpretation service in Colombian sign language for the short film "La Gran Hazaña", a production supported by the Film Development Fund (FDC) and Futuro Digital.
Synopsis:
"La Gran Hazaña" tells the story of a group of children who, driven by imagination and camaraderie, decide to undertake an extraordinary mission to transform the routine of their neighborhood. Through situations full of humor, naivety, and emotion, the short film highlights the value of friendship and the power of small gestures that can become great achievements. With a close, endearing tone, the production invites us to reflect on creativity and how coming together can bring about significant change.
For productions supported by the FDC, ensuring accessibility is a key requirement. This includes sign language interpretation, subtitling, and audio description. Complying with these guidelines is not only a technical obligation but also a social responsibility that helps expand access to culture and allows people with disabilities to enjoy cinema without barriers.
